Country manor house meets spa meets gentlemen’s club – with snow-capped peaks. A rustic stone fireplace and mounted stag’s head set the tone for the impressive living space. Add a palette of calming neutrals and beautiful natural woods and flagstones and you have a mountain apartment that is more a cocoon than simply a place to rest your head. After a morning on the slopes, why not sink into the freestanding tubs in the spa-style bathrooms, complete with ‘rain’ showerheads, before wrapping yourself in a fluffy robe and slippers to enjoy your afternoon tea? While you and your fellow guests get ready for your evening champagne and canapés, enjoy your favourite music in high-quality sound. Country chic it may be, but this property is bang up to date when it comes to technology with a Bose sound system throughout which can be programmed from most of the rooms. The fab TV den provides a brilliant space for kids of all ages to escape and lounge in front of a film for a few hours. After a gourmet meal and fine house wines, the bedrooms couldn’t be more inviting. Huge beds, decked out in soft cotton sheets, surrounded by beautiful antique wood furniture. If it weren’t for the amazing skiing just minutes’ walk from your doorstep, you’d be mad to leave the building…
