The contemporary villas are designed to blend into the landscape and they all come with private temperature-controlled pool and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Arabian Sea. The local currency is the UAE dirham (AED or Dhs) which is divided into 100 fils and is pegged against the US $ (US$ 1: AED 3.6725). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted. Foreign currencies and travellers' cheques can be exchanged in licenced exchange offices, banks and hotels, a passport is required
Weather and Climate
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has a desert climate, characterized by pleasantly mild winters and very hot, sunny summers, with the humidity of the Persian Gulf that makes the heat unbearable. Annual precipitation is almost everywhere below 100 millimeters (4 inches) and is concentrated in the winter months.
